Two furnaces, one power supply - the TWIN-POWER® principle

The TWIN-POWER^® principle makes it possible to distribute power smoothly and steplessly from one source to two induction furnaces. Switch time losses and overheating in the melt now belong to the past.

The TWIN-POWER^® principle as well as Multi-Power principles corresponds to the latest rectifier technology. All settings can be programmed by means of parameters, the storage of all operating data makes it easy – if necessary – to conduct fault diagnostics. The system is so sophisticated that the rectifier remains unscathed even when the furnace bursts or starts leaking.

In addition, foundrymen have the following advantages:

• During the melting process in one furnace the melt in the other can be kept on holding duty.

• Both furnaces can each be driven at 50 % capacity during the melting process – simultaneously.

• It is possible to supply refractory material to one furnace – without pulsing at the double current – while sintering takes place at the same time in the other furnace.
