The skimming device is a pneumatic actuated slag removal system for induction furnaces.
It can be hooked up to a wire rope of an already existing crane. The skimming device must be guided manually and consists basically of the frame and two slag blades. The slag blades are actuated pneumatically with compressed air. Therefore the handgrip is equipped with a hand-control-valve.
