CVG Venalum, the largest Aluminum producer in Venezuela has confirmed a new order for a second FS Furnace System. After their first FS furnace supplied in 2001 this new order not only includes the new FS furnace but also utilizes the new IGBT technology power supply technology.
The President of CVG Venalum alongside a specialized team, including the finance director and several other technicians, visited several ABP Induction installations in Brazil where customers have expressed satisfaction for ABP Products and Service.
Both, Fernando Orsi - General Manager of Brazil - and Kumar Chakravarty - Int´l Sales Manager for South America – were present in the customer visits and with assisting in the technical discussions thereafter.
During the visit at the ABP facility, CVG Venalum was able to see the largest IFM furnace ever manufactured in Brazil. It is an IFM 9 with a 27 ton capacity and 6.1 MW TWIN-POWER®, power supply system. The CVG Venalum president took the chance to step onto the furnace platform and see the great size and robustness of this furnace.
The order received this time is for a Melting System comprising of one FS 20 furnace with 2-ton capacity and a single 1,000 kW IGBT Power supply manufactured in Brazil, to be delivery in 2009.
