
Pulse Converter
The ABP Pulse Converter is desiged in a compact cabinet. The target of the developement was to realize an optimized converter for heating application small and medium sized billets at higher frequences.
The converter works with so called 'pulses'. Frequency and amplitude are independent from the required power output. Therby a homogenous temperature profile is ensured, even at minor throughput. The pulse recurrence is independent of the resonance frequency. The power is regulated by modulation of the pulse recurrence.

The pulse converter is characterised by less loses, because of short conductors, as well as an easy maintainable design with high accessibility.
All power carrying parts are water cooled. The cooling water allocation runs with our system OPTISTREAM. It is robust, easy to maintain and flow enhancing.
